Olympics 2008

August 8, 2008 marked the start of Omympics 2008 held in Beijing, China. I was so unfortunate I haven’t watched the opening ceremony. Darn it. Things like this come only once every four years and I wasn’t able to watch it on TV. Tsk tsk. My duty was very timely. Lol! Anyway, I made efforts on watching it here in the internet. But none of it has quenched my thirst for the Olympics ceremony yet. I’ve come across plenty of pictures of the ceremony. I also got to watch the fireworks display after the lighting of the olympic cauldron.. And two words came to my mind after I’ve seen those.

Amazing. No doubt the ceremony was amazing. It makes me wish I was in Bird’s nest, Beijing at that very moment to personally witness the spectacular event. Sigh.

Expensive. I don’t think I still have to elaborate this one. China obviously poured billions of Yuan on this. Prepared, huh.

hp 21 when refilled was “full” when it’s actually not.. what to do?

i posted this up on YA seconds ago and i thought of posting it here also.. just in case i can also get some help from people here… thanks for your help in advance! mwah

i had my hp 21 cartridge refilled and when it has been 4mL, the guy stopped refilling my cartridge last night ’cause the ink was spilling under. he said it was “full” but it was actually not. (that’s why i got it refilled in the first place ’cause it doesn’t have black ink anymore when i print)

i had something to be printed a while ago and hp’s software adviced me that my hp 21 was “low on ink”.

what do i need to do now? is there anything wrong with my cartridge? do i need to buy a new one? i need help with this. :) thank u so much! :) God bless ya

Moving on

I can see your raised eyebrows. Haha! I can see those looks that say, “what now?”. Yes I’ve said “I’ll move on” a lot of times already. I don’t even know if this will make a difference this time. But, you see, I’ll make it through this in my own time and at my own pace. Don’t bother. ;) It would be hard not to look back but I know I need to keep moving forward if I really want to turn the page. Moving on requires a choice and buckets of effort. Nobody said moving on is easy. But definitely, it is attainable.

Hottah Hottah 4

So it has been a loooooonnnngggg time since I updated my Hottah Hottah series. I missed doing this. School has been tough lately.. But that doesn’t stop me from eyeing on hot guys. Hehe :) Up for the forth ed? Here it is… :)

Lee Seo Jin is one of the guys who makes my heart melt. :) I love him ever since I saw him on Lovers.. Super! I can’t believe he’s already 35 years old.. But, so what?! He’s just so hot. :) Actually, he looks a bit like Oguri Shun. Hehe.

 

This guy is Hottah Hottah worthy. Lee Min Ki is the name. He’s 23 years old. Yay! :) Hehehe. I saw him in Dal Ja’s Spring. He’s with actress Chae Rim in that series. (I love watching Dal Ja’s Spring. Great story. Great cast! Two thumbs up!) “Spare tire” Kang Tae Bong is the man I want to have in my life. :)

Ever wanted to be a royalty?

When I was younger than I am now (wow hahahaha), I have always dreamed of becoming a Princess. It’s not that I want to rule a kingdom… It’s just that I wanted to live like a Princess – overflowing closet of gowns, oh-so-cool leisure activities, and a relaxed life (talk about people who’ll do stuffs for you rather than you doing those by yourself). Girls, if you hear me say “yeah”.  Ahaha!

Actually I think almost every girl has dreamed of becoming a princess once in her entire life. Anyway, I stumbled on a thought a few days ago. How about the guys? Have you ever dreamed of becoming a Prince when you were still younger? I’m just really curious. I hope you can send me your thoughts on this. :) Thanks in advance.. :)

Reality Captured

My groupmates and I decided to check out some gowns yesterday after we had our meeting. So we headed to a shop located somewhere sa may Magallanes St. As we were walking to the first stop.. We saw something that made us stop for a while and talagang tingnan yung scene. It was actually my first time to see something like that. Na-amaze talaga ako kaya I took a picture of it. Here it is.

How’d you find it? Actually, sila lang dalawa ang naglalaro. They’re kids ha. May ilan ring nakiki-usiyoso. Three men and a lady. One of them ay isang traffic enforcer. Siyempre yung lady, ako yun. Haha toinx! Back to the scene… Have you noticed something?

Enclosed sa yellow circles ay ang pusta nilang pera. Twenty peso bills and some five peso coins. I didn’t believe what I saw. Young as they are, nagsusugal na sila. Kumusta naman? Pastime? Hindi lang piso ang pustahan. Grabe. Tong-its ata nilalaro nila. They look so concentrated on what they’re doing. Sabagay, kahit naman ako kung ganun ang pustahan. :D

Haay. Where are the parents of this two children anyway? And where did they learn to play that? Who taught them such? San nila nakuha yung pera? Yun kaya yung pinanlimos nila?

Oh well… It was disturbing. Haha!

Where is it?

I want to run away and go to a place where no one can see me cry..

..where I can let this well-kept feelings out..

I want to go where I need not be strong..

..where there are no lies and pretending..

..where being weak is not a taboo..

A place where one can be free of rumors, gossips, discriminations and of judgements..

I want to run away and go to that place.

“Where is it”, you might ask.

I know where.

 

Whenever I talk to him I am not conscious to cry..

..that I am able to share the feelings I deliberately chose to suppress..

It is when I am not required to be strong..

..when lies and pretending are overruled and discarded..

It is when one is totally accepted..

..when rumors, gossips, discriminations and all sorts of judgments have no room..

“Where is it”, you might ask.

I’ll tell it to you.

 

It is really not a ‘place’.

It is simply just a moment of silence where you can find peace, love and security.

It is a moment of silence with God.

4 Years And Still Counting…

Britney

Just thought to write something about her after I’ve come across stuffs while I’m surfing the net. Really, I think Britney Spears is a great artist but she just got wasted. I can recall that her life gradually turned to a mess after Justin Timberlake broke up with her. Negative news kept rolling one after the other.

 

But seriously, I still believe that she can still be saved. Well, that is, if she wants to fix her life up. I hope she can still do the project with Timberlake and Timbaland so she can make a smashing comeback.

 

I wish her the best. And I hope the next time I turn on the TV or surf the net, I see her redeem herself and making it good the second time around.
